A Good Deed Deserves a Good Feed!!

***Edit to post:  Some people are having trouble printing off this flyer.  If you are unable to print it you can try going to on of our sponsors websites at http://everydayfoodstorage.net/2010/07/16/eat-out-for-a-good-cause/food-storage-recipes and see if you can print one off of their page.  If that still doesn't work, you can either email me at jenandjared02@mac.com BEFORE 3:00 today and I will email one back (I will be at Chipotle from 4:00 on for the fundraiser).  Or- just come to Chipotle during the specified time and ask for a flyer.  I can't pass them out, but I will bring some extra for those who ask for them.   Thanks!  Jenny and Jared.

Do a good deed and get a good feed at the same time!

Farmers Insurance has teamed up with Chipotle Mexican Grill to raise money for the March of Dimes. We would like to invite you to join us for the event on Tuesday, July 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Sandy location. For every person who comes to Chipotle during that time with the fundraiser flyer, they have agreed to donate 50% of the money that you spend to the March of Dimes. Yep, you heard that right 50%! Studies show that the average American eats out 3-4 times a week- make one of those dinners count toward a great organization!!

Did you know?

Did you know that the March of Dimes originally set out to find a cure for Polio? After being affected by Polio, Franklin D. Roosevelt, along with Basil O'Conner, established a non-profit organization to create a vaccine for Polio. At the time, polio affected about 50,000 Americans each year. In 1952 with funding from the March of Dimes Dr. Thomas Salk created the first experimental vaccine for Polio. After many years of testing, this vaccine became a standard vaccine given to all babies- and is still being used today. How great is it that they actually succeeded at their goal? Since 1958 when the vaccine was complete the March of Dimes has been funding cutting edge research and innovative programs to save babies from birth defects, premature birth and low birthweight. I think we have all benefited from the research and education that the March of Dimes has provided whether we realize it or not!

Another year has past....

and its time to raise more money for the March of Dimes!! Babies are being born every day throughout the nation, and the March of Dimes is one of the major organizations doing research and providing education for the public on how to make sure that babies are born as healthy as possible.

We have a great fundraiser this year, stay tuned for more details!!!!
